Any person who violates any of these Provisions shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a penalty not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500.00) or in default of payment of such penalty to imprisonment for a term not exceeding ninety (90) days. The cooperation of all vehicle owners is appreciated, vehicles parked on the side of road, snow pushed out onto the road really hinders the snow clearing equipment operator's efforts to clear the roads. Please keep you vehicles off the roads as per town Regulations and please do not push snow out onto the road. Putting snow in the road is a safety hazard to the equipment operator and causes unnecessary damage to the town's equipment. Remember yours taxes will have to pay for the equipment repairs caused when the Operator tries to clear the snow lead on/or to the side of a town road. Please practice road safety at all times. Should any person have a request to Council we would appreciate your request to be submitted to the town office at least one week before a council meeting, this will give the Town Clerk / Council time to research should there be any issues pertaining to a request. |
